Riftwatch's natives have been remarkably charitable towards our kind, and know the biases of their own people.

But no, I don’t think so. We’re visitors, here. Our struggles are measured in months; the ruling Chantry measures its strife in centuries, and has an usurper god on its doorstep.

The polled perspective is useful to have.

Well, she did think to draw me into private correspondence before conveying more candid views, so that's something.

Oh, [ surprised, but pleasantly. ] How useful. She seems very practical.

She'd recommended a dialogue with her superior, a Revered Mother. A woman of some influence, at least, possibly likely to take up unconventional causes for her own political gain.

What I doubt is that any work done there would somehow override the Chantry negotiations that've already gone on, but. It's hard to know what might wind up useful.

That none of the belief systems here seem to resemble any of ours, and your being. Religious.

The Elven pantheon bears some superficial resemblance to our own. They are polytheistic, with named, apparently absent gods associated with different domains of worship.

“The Maker” has every indication of being a human invention marketed to strengthen their domination over every level of society here, and to excuse their subjugation of the other races. They label anything they don’t understand outside that narrow frame of reference a “demon.”

Frankly I think they should be ashamed of themselves.

That's bound to be a popular opinion with someone. Whether it's anyone we can align ourselves with is yet to be seen.
